I have LOVED working with Gina so much. I had done some strength training before and really loved it. However, I struggled to program for myself and felt that I didn't have enough knowledge to keep going on my own. I was eager to get back into strength training, educate myself, and get stronger. I was in a movement rut, and wanted to find someone who I could trust, and who had an understanding of body neutrality/body diversity too.
We started by virtually training over zoom, and have more recently begun training in person. It has been so cool to see myself get stronger, feel more capable, and try new things. I notice that I have more strength, and I generally feel better the longer I strength train.
Gina is so encouraging, warm, and supportive. She has pushed me to try new things and been flexible when I have needed adjustments. She has taught me so much through my time with her. She also makes the experience always feel comfortable, so I never feel worried about being judged or making mistakes, which used to hold me back with movement in the past. I am so excited to keep working with her!
